Travis and Bumphead

“Uhhhh huh huh. Whoa! Beavis, these things look... like, us… but from a dimension where everything sucks even more. It’s got our faces, but with, like, a hundred zits and schlongs or something. Heh heh. Heh… it’s like if I had tentacles and ate people instead being kickass and eating nachos. I think I’d still be kickass, though. Uhhhh… Behold the mighty Butt-thulhu!”

On Tuesday this week, I started illustrating another abomination on my Twitch stream. Somebody mentioned that the gumline reminded them of Butthead (of Beavis & Butthead fame - not the other several well known Buttheads). So as Tuesday’s stream was winding down, my Twitch viewers (specifically WaxxIdiotic) asked if I could create a companion “Beavis” watercolor.

Never one to disappoint my loyal audience (never ever!), I sketched out a Beavis counterpart complete with drippy nose and a mass of tentacles. This eldritch Cornholio garnished a lot of interest and even I was surprised how subtle the result was. After sharing a few video clips from “Beavis and Butthead Do America” we agreed to call Thursday’s abomination “Travis” (okay, a bit begrudgingly on my part). But now I can present to you my Lovecraft Beavis and Butthead analogues… welcome Travis and Bumphead to my odd menagerie of cosmic creatures!
